Hi Craig,

The number of issues I printed varied according to each contributor but I would typically print about 20 copies of each. I printed enough to meet the minimum order (20 copies) to get a bulk discount, which was 25%. Now, the bulk discount is 10 copies but the discount was slashed by 10%. I basically printed enough copies for the contributors and then ordered over that to meet the bulk discount quota.

For dog.bites, I think I printed seven or eight of those. I also sold digital copies of the zines, which obviously cost me nothing to print. In the beginning, before I had a website, I sold through MagCloud. Since the service allows customers to buy directly through MC I didn’t have to come out of pocket on those orders. Does that answer your question?
